The RocK’n F story

Before the days of RocK’n F’s move to heavy hauling and logistics, Belton Finney founded RocK’n F Hot Shots in 2016. He was the company’s only driver. It turns out, being laid off from oilfield work was the best thing that could have happened to him.

His success didn’t come easily or quickly.

Belton set the bar high for customer service and never said no. He established a reputation for being extremely reliable and punctual. Before long, Belton had several customers that called him anytime they needed hotshot services.

From Hot Shots to FTL and Heavy Haul

Six months later, business was booming. Belton hired two owner-operator hot shots to work for him, and RocK’n F Hot Shots started growing.

In 2018, Belton purchased his first semi with a step deck trailer that would lead to RocK’n F becoming one of the newest heavy hauling companies in Texas. Belton started taking larger and more difficult loads and added two asset-based Hot Shots to the team.

Just a year later, he expanded the RocK’n F fleet with two more big trucks and another hotshot. That same year, Belton and his wife, Denise, decided they had enough work to expand again. Together they established RocK’n F Freight, LLC, a third-party logistics provider.

Belton Finney stepped away from driving in 2019 to focus on growing RocK’n F. The trucking company now boasts 30 employees, 2 satellite offices, and 6 company trucks. The team is growing the asset-based RocK’n F LTL services to include several trusted CDL owner-operators to expand FTL and heavy hauling operations.

We Haven’t Met a Load We Can’t Handle​

Today, RocK’n F Freight services are equipped to handle any size load, of any type, in the Lower 48. Owned assets in our fleet of new and well-maintained vehicles include duallys, Peterbilts, flatbeds, step decks, RGNs, and dry van trailers. If your load requires it, we have it.

The Finneys’ vision is to continue to add to our asset-based services, delivering exceptional service to redefine what RocK’n F customers expect from heavy hauling companies. The company will also continue growing a quality network of owner-operators to serve all trucking and logistics needs.
